On the weekend 18th- 20nd July 2008, the Macquarie Towns Arts Society held its third "MTAS Artists at Work' Exhibition at the Derrubbin Centre in Windsor.
A part of the exhibition was a series of demonstrations by local members, from the Friday through to the Sunday.
This is the third time I have been asked to do a portrait demonstration, and I asked Saul Munro, a local clay sculptor to sit for me
I didn't know that he was going to make a clay bust of me, while I painted a portrait of Him... this was the result
I stretched a 50 x 60 cm canvas, and used a basic range of oil colours.
this was the state of the painting at our one and only break
the portrait at the endof the session, after about 80 minutes
and the painting after some work at home
